Lazarus Imaging is a family owned company, based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (Home of the 2000 Olympics).

We commenced a part time operation in March 1987 under the name Lazarus Ribbons, initially reinking dot matrix printer ribbons with a home - made reinking machine. As our experience grew, and the need for a more professional approach became evident, we transformed our operation from reinking to the reloading of cartridges with new inked nylon, in order to give a more consistent level of print quality. We were one of the first enterprises in the printer consumables recycling industry in Australia.

In October 1988 we became a full time operation, and commenced recharging laser cartridges in early 1989. Later in 1989, as inkjet technology began to grow rapidly in the printer market, we entered the inkjet cartridge refilling market, manufacturing end-user refill kits and also providing a refilling service.

In 1997, we launched the trading name Lazarus Imaging, to reflect the broad range of printer consumables in which we deal, which includes the recycling of printer ribbons, laser toners and inkjet cartridges, and sale of new products.

Lazarus Imaging is a foundation member of the Australian Cartridge Remanufacturers Association Inc. (ACRA ). ACRA is the national association which represents the printer consumables recycling industry in Australia. Our Proprietor, Bruce A. Wilson has served on the ACRA National Committee for a number of years in various positions.
