Lazarus Imaging recycles a wide
range of laser, copier, laserfax and microfiche toner cartridges.
As an accredited member of the Australian Cartridge Remanufacturers
Association Inc. (ACRA ), we follow the industry-standard recycling
procedures for these cartridges.
Unlike many of our competitors,
we have our own rigorous definitions for the processes we perform,
and describe them accordingly in our pricing:
Remanufacturing
entails a complete disassembly of the used cartridge, replacement
of all the major wearable components with either new aftermarket
components or guaranteed reconditioned components, and recharging
with a full measure of quality aftermarket toner.
Reconditioning and Recharging
entails a complete disassembly of the used cartridge, inspection
testing of all the major wearable components , and replacement
where necessary with reconditioned components or with good components
recovered from "virgin" used cartridges. As with remanufactured
cartridges, we recharge with a full measure of quality aftermarket
toner.
Recharging is the simplest
cartridge recycling process which applies to those mechanisms
using a simple tube or tray of toner/developer. This process
entails opening the toner unit, cleaning out any residual toner
and giving a full recharge of quality aftermarket toner. Where
necessary, appropriate storage seals are installed, as they
are with the remanufactured and reconditioned items also.
